RESTRICTIVE PRACTICES AUTHORISATION
Talking to many of the NDIS and Aged Care Providers that we work with, Links2Community has found that compliance with meeting Restrictive Practice obligations is a major issue. Many providers even found it hard to know where to start.
We began by assisting our clients to understand the process and how to navigate their way through the maze of NDIS Commission and state government requirements and portals with training and support.
Some organisations found it easier for us to directly assist with some of the work around Restrictive Practice Approvals.
Assistance and support with NSW Restrictive Practices Authorisation (RPA) requirements for the organisation’s Behaviour Support Practitioners and implementing providers who support NDIS Participants with approved Restrictive Practices (RPs) in their Behaviour Support Plans (BSP). - Adding BSPs to Department of Communities & Justice (DCJ) Portal, adding behaviours of concern and adding RPs
- Arranging RPA Panels with SILC Manager and DCJ Independent Specialist

- Monthly reporting on approved RPs
- Tracking upcoming reviews and assisting with preparation
